How Can severe Hip Arthritis Be Treated?

I have right hip arthritis, my right thigh muscle as almost halved, my knee suffers as much as my hip. I understand how exercise and stretching to strengthen the area around my knee, glutes, hamstring and thigh could help, but how could I get to where I was and play squash, run, play football etc ever return with the range of motion restriction, soreness and stiffness. I ve been led to believe by physio that my arthritis is now called a wear and repair disease, which can be fully reversed. How can this be, I m prepared to put the effort in and have done so, but I have good days and bad, but never have had the confidence that my efforts will bring about the desired rewards. Should I seriously consider at the age of 48 having surgery of some kind or a replacement? Thanks in advance

Hello,

Consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.

As of now, analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol can be tried.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
